24thing

I wish my health situation had allowed me to more fully explore everything that was offered, instead of the bare minimum. I hope to go back and have a little more fun. I hope that the library system as a whole will foster and use some of this new technology, both for patrons and staff.

If we offered another discovery program like this in the future, would you again chose to participate? Yes!

overdrive

I searched under " horse and horses" only result was: "All the pretty horses." I listened to the excerpts (2 people are waiting ) Here is the description:

All the Pretty Horses - the first volume of the Borders Trilogy - tells of young John Grady Cole, the last of a long line of Texas ranchers. Across the border Mexico beckons - beautiful and desolate, rugged and cruelly civilized. With two companions, he sets off on an idyllic, sometimes comic adventure, to a place where dreams are paid for in blood.

podcast

I looked inro the NPR podcasts for book talks. I especially enjoyed: Carry-On Books To Take You Up, Up And Away

youtube

I have used YouTube to view dressage tests for free. It is helpful in learning about competitive results,

web 2.0

I played with Im Cooked. I choose it because of my addiction to FoodTV. I don't know if this would be any benefit in a library setting , other than in Reference. We often have patrons looking for recipes and the fact that you can also watch a video on the preparation would be cool. I also could see patrons saving family recipes for family and friends,

applications

It would have been very helpful to use the collaborative writing tool like ZOHO Writer when I was on the Annual Training Day Committee. We were emailing changes and the documents got very confusing
